Light post. Configuration: extruded aluminum structure. Polycarbonate diffuser: UV stabilized opal. Double layer painting for high resistance to corrosion: the aluminum components are painted with a double coat using powders compliant with QUALICOAT standards: a first layer of epoxy powder (with excellent chemical and mechanical resistance) and a second finishing layer of polyester powder (resistant to UV rays and atmospheric agents). The entire painting process of the aluminum fitting starts from previously sandblasted components to make the surface more porous and increase the adhesion of the paint. Ares carries out alkaline and acid washes to completely clean the surfaces, then rinses with demineralised water to remove any residual particles, followed by a chemical conversion treatment to protect against rust. Degree of protection: IP65 Complies with EN 60598-1 Insulation class: II Installation: The LED module is housed in a sealed transparent polycarbonate cylinder with compensation valve. The appliance is equipped with a length of cable and a wiring kit with crimp connectors and adhesive heat-shrink sheath for a watertight electrical connection. We recommend installation on a base or concrete surface, directly with anchors or using the appropriate fixing plate (to be ordered separately). Outdoor use requires adequate flexible cables. We recommend using a connection system with a protection rating greater than or equal to the protection rating of the appliance. During the installation and maintenance of the fixtures it is important to pay attention and avoid damage to the paint. Damage to the coating exposed to external conditions or water could cause corrosion. Chemicals affect the corrosion protection of the coating.
