CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MATERIALS
EN AB-47100 die-cast aluminum body with high resistance to oxidation. Tumbling process to prepare for the painting phase. A4 stainless steel screws with a high molybdenum content of 2.5-3%. Silicone gaskets annealed.
Extra-resistant double painting carried out in 3 phases:
1) BONDERITE treatment with chemical protection of metal-free fluozirconic material containing ceramic nanoparticles that create a cohesive, inorganic, high density layer. 2) PRE-POLYMERISATION cycle with application of the epoxy primer with characteristics of overpainting on the device and high resistance to oxidation thanks to the presence of zinc. 3) POLYMERIZATION cycle with the application of polyester powder with high characteristics of resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents, with resistance to the salt spray test of 1200h. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SENSITIVE TO OVERVOLTAGE.
It is recommended to install "SPD" surge protection devices in the electrical system. Protective devices prevent the intensity of these phenomena, protecting the devices from the risk of being damaged and prolonging their life. Outdoor lighting fixtures are subject to all types of permanent, temporary or transient electrical disturbances. Such disturbances can create permanent damage or failures that compromise performance and life. The surge protection device (supplied by SIMES) is used to limit the destructive effect of these phenomena. For each lighting fixture, a protection device must be provided at a distance of no more than 10m. For correct coordination of protections, a protection device against overvoltages must also be provided inside the electrical power panel of the system (the choice of the latter is the responsibility of the designer and is not provided by SIMES).
